Adam Lupiani is a cinematographer based in Houston, Texas.

Adam has long been interested in the histories of communities and cultures and the intersections between them. While working in the commercial print industry, he became fascinated by the history of color, and how pigments, dyes, and the ingredients used to make them were often at the center of interactions between different cultures and communities.

Film, much like printing, is a medium that bridges cultures and communities, while telling the very stories essential to those cultures and communities.

With a focus on exploring ideas about history, place, identity, and community in an increasingly individualized cultural landscape, Adam is dedicated to bringing unique perspectives to the screen.

During film school and on multiple short film productions, Adam worked in and with multiple departments. From writing and producing to directing and editing, Adam has the skills to bring any project to life. The experience of working within a variety of departments allows him to communicate clearly with everyone involved in a production, keeping a crew moving toward a unified vision.
